What's a Fiwit? Right now, it's a person who thinks that maybe others want to read her online diary. Maybe she's wrong, maybe she's right, but at any rate, she's blogging now.

Sometimes I think online diaries (blogs) are the height of narcissism, other times I think they're no different than the arrogance/narcissism required to write a book. After all, the whole reason for putting it out there is because you're convinced that someone else will want to read it.

So maybe I'm arrogant or narcissistic. I prefer to believe that there are just too many stray thoughts cluttering up my head, and they deserve to see the light of day, even if it's just in a tiny corner of the blogosphere.

And no, that's not my picture. That's my former roommate, Angie, a retired racing greyhound/brood mama.
