My Commitment

  • Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. Hab. 3:17-18

Sometimes I think online diaries (blogs) are the height of narcissism, other times I think they're no different than the arrogance/narcissism required to write a book. After all, the whole reason for putting it out there is because you're convinced that someone else will want to read it.

So maybe I'm arrogant or narcissistic. I prefer to believe that there are just too many stray thoughts cluttering up my head, and they deserve to see the light of day, even if it's just in a tiny corner of the blogosphere.

And no, that's not my picture. That's my former roommate, Angie, a retired racing greyhound/brood mama.
